Est. 2013

Made on a family farm in the hills of Canisteo.

Damn good cider. No shortcuts.

The pledge

100% New York apples.

No added sugar.

No added water.

No artificial anything.

Never have, never will.

Sweetness from fruit, never from a sugar bag.

The long way

Thirteen years, zero shortcuts.

  1. where it started

    2013

    A recipe and a Kickstarter

The Collins family starts fermenting the family recipe in Canisteo, New York — and a Kickstarter full of true believers puts the first batches into the world.

  2. the cider house, day one

    Oct 2015

    A home of our own

The production facility comes online and the Canisteo tasting room opens its doors on Cunningham Creek Road.

  3. the production floor

    The can era

    Onto the canning line

Bottles give way to 12oz cans — the same cider, in the format that actually travels. Four-packs, variety packs, and a lineup that keeps growing.

  4. Today

    Still stubborn

New York's Most Awarded Farm Cidery — shipping to eligible states across the map, made exactly the way it was in 2013.

“If the fruit isn’t right, the cider waits.”

Cider Creek Hard Cider Canisteo, New York · Est. 2013

What we won't budge on

Three rules of the farm.

Not a mission statement. Three things that decide what gets canned and what gets poured out.

Rule 01

Orchard first

Every can starts as 100% New York apples. If the fruit isn't right, the cider waits — the orchard sets the schedule, not the other way around.

Rule 02

Nothing added, ever

No added sugar. No added water. No artificial flavors. Sweetness from fruit, never from a sugar bag.

Rule 03

Weird when it counts

The standards never bend. The flavors occasionally get abducted. Meet Captain LeZard and the Conspiracy Series.
